About Me

Origin Story

It all began in middle school when I chose Computer Science as an elective. I had always been curious of how websites, apps and games come to be. What the elective showed me was a complex, massive puzzle, and I was hooked.
This quickly grew into a passion for Software Engineering. While programming is difficult(and yes, I have banged my head against my keyboard many times), the satisfaction of finally figuring out the problem is my driving force.
I genuinely love learning new things and thrive on diving into the unknown and can't wait to see what challenges come next.

A timeline of relevant experience

Weblab.nl, Intern, September 2023 - January 2024

Designed detailed Entity Relationship Diagrams to clarify about 15 complex relationships between a core model and its coupled models resulting in a single, visual source of truth and a reduction of developer time spend searching of originating data.

Upgraded the admin frontend to the Laravel Filament framework replacing an outdated legacy interface, resulting in anincrease in editorial workflow efficiency and ease of access for content management.

Hoppinger, Working student, May 2024 - June 2025

Integrated Zitadel to the development toolkit(DTP) to offer a simplified Identity and Access Management system, resulting in a swappable Authorization unit that decoupled services.

Refactored core website pages to load asynchrously, improving user experience and perceived page speed by eliminating render-blocking delays.
